Meet the teachers

We are Wessex Alexander Technique Collective
We are a group of Alexander Technique teachers, trained in the Interactive Teaching Method, working in the counties of Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Dorset in the UK. We work both collectively and individually. We would be happy to meet you and work with you at any of our public workshops, group classes, or individual classes. Please see our calendar for public events, or contact any of our teachers to discuss your needs.

Diana Bailey
Hi, I’m Diana. I have been a teacher of the Alexander Technique since 2018. I work in the Oxfordshire area, particularly in Wantage, Didcot and Oxford. My background is in science. I spent many years studying and researching physics. When I discovered the ITM approach to the Alexander Technique, I knew I had found a subject of never-ending fascination, and a job I could happily do for the rest of my life. It is the greatest privilege to work with students through their journeys of self-discovery. Find out more about me here.

Kate Brailsford
I qualified as an ITM Alexander Technique Teacher in 2012 and teach groups in Swindon, Oxfordshire
and Dorset. I also teach at the ITM Teacher Training Course in Bristol, and at annual residential ITM summer workshops in Cirencester and Ireland. My own study of this work has provided me with tools and principles that I can apply for more ease, freedom, flexibility and satisfaction in my whole life. My experience of outdoor interests is that they are becoming easier, especially my favourites: hiking, swimming, cycling and skiing.

Sandra Regan
Hi I’m Sandra. I qualified as an ITM Alexander Teacher in September 2019. I live and work in South Oxfordshire – places like Didcot, Abingdon, Wallingford and Oxford. I have a long-standing interest in health and wellness, having previously trained with reflexology and reiki. I’ve also worked with health researchers to involve people affected by certain conditions in research. In addition, I’m a trained oral storyteller. I believe that Alexander Technique is the most responsible thing that anyone can do for their own wellness, and I really love the Interactive Teaching Method.
